The energy infrastructure sector includes energy generation, transmission and distribution.  An environmentally and socially responsible approach to energy is critical to attain sustainability objectives. The energy sector contributes about 40% of global CO2 emissions, making the transition to a more sustainable energy mix critical for climate change mitigation.
